Capacity Building
WBDP deals
mainly with the development of human and institutional capacities of the BDS
providers to identify, develop and offer reasonable quality services along
the needs of the market. Based on clear criteria, providers will be selected
to participate in the project.
Our main
concern is to increase the local providers’ financial sustainability. An
increased awareness of women regarding the BDS offer and the value added by
BDS to their company or professional career will increase the clients’
readiness to pay fees for services thus contributing to the providers’
financial sustainability.
Our focus
is on the following activities:

BDS
market assessment (baseline analysis to investigate the initial situation
on the demand and supply side)

Identification of and collaboration with service providers along a
business oriented philosophy.

Support/ coaching to service providers in developing and marketing new
technical/ business related BDS

Facilitate HRD and organizational development/ qualification improvement
measures for providers

Facilitate promotion activities for providers

Support
the dialogue/ network and competition among providers
